One life to live…

Updated 5 February 2024

Life is too short, but not this article…

I wonder if Ron noticed the name Pierre put on his bulldozer…

You should know that in a soap opera the more the writer keeps you on your toes, the more you keep coming back for more…

and the more soap you buy…

And there is a lot more soap coming your way…

Her name was Lola…
She was a showgirl…

In my never ending quest for Fabien Sauvé after Ron got my genealogy bulldozer going, I found that Fabien Sauvé was really married three times.

Fabien first married Marie Louise Victorine Houle in 1874 in St-Polycarpe, Quebec, which is Ron’s favourite Canadian province…

Go figure…

I found that Fabien and Victorine had at least seven children: Anna, Napoléon, Hector, Jérémie, Georges Auguste, Joseph and little Victorine.

This is what I found about Napoléon Sauvé…

I also found this message posted on a genealogy forum…

Fabien Sauve and Marie-Louise Houle.
I have them as living in Glengarry Quebec around 1904 to at least 1913
I have the names and marrages of three of their children:
1) Joseph married in Chelmsford Ont. 22-08-1904 to Eva Rheaume daughter of Timothee and Melina Massie of S. Marthe
2) Jeremiah married in Chel. Ont. 03-02-1913 to Marie-Ange Rheaume sister of Eva
3) Napoleon married in Chel.Ont 07-01-1913 to Corinne Robillard daughter of Elzar and Pomela Rose Leroux of Les Cedres Quebec.

But I found much more on Napoléon, but I would have to write a spin-off blog from  this soap opera with what I found out… unless Ron asks me of course…

As for Hector Sauvé, he was born in 1882.

In this census Fabien is now called Tabeau and Victorine has become Victoria…

Georges Auguste Sauvé was born around 1884 and died in Seattle in 1959.

In this census Fabien and Louise got their given names right…

Moving right along… Joseph Sauvé married Eva Rhéaume…

1) Joseph married in Chelmsford, Ontario. 22-08-1904 to Eva Rheaume daughter of Timothee and Melina Massie of S. Marthe

and Jérémie Sauvé married Eva’s sister…

2) Jeremiah married in Chelmsford, Ontario. 03-02-1913 to Marie-Ange Rheaume sister of Eva

Little Victorine Sauvé married Joséphus Sauvé, son of Prosper Sauvé and Victoire Carrière.

Here we see Josephus in the 1881 Canadian census…

Prosper Sauvé’s family in 1881

As for Anna Sauvé, I could not find anything more on her.

Maybe she became a nun or died young.

You see what I mean…

This will never stop… and I have two more marriages to go…

Pierre, I just can’t get enough of all this…
Honoré my beloved husband…

Would you watch my cheese macaroni on the stove…?
