Many people have Acadian roots and know nothing about that.
The Acadians were deported in 1755.
On that document I put on the blog, people can see the names of several families that were taken to Connecticut.
I could link so many people with these ancestors.
One of my ancestors lived in this house when he and his family were deported from Nova Scotia – Rene Hebert and his family lived here for a time, and his son Charles is my seventh-great grandfather. It would be incredible to see this house, knowing that my family lived there!
